For Brokers, the full continuing education requirements can be completed with online courses.
PLEASE NOTE: Managing Brokers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every year, for a total of 36 hours every three years. At least 4 hours every year must be completed in a mandatory course covering the necessary business and management skills and legal knowledge needed by a managing broker. Empire Learning does not currently offer a course that meets this Managing Broker requirement.
After completing the continuing education requirements and allowing time for credits to be reported, your license can be renewed online at https://mylicense.in.gov/egov/.
If your license has been in an expired status for less than 3 years, you may simply renew the license and may be able to renew online.
If your license is expired 3 or more years, you will need to complete a license reinstatement to bring your license back into an active status. License reinstatement consists of the application for reinstatement, reinstatement fee of $120.00, completion of 36 hours of continuing education (taken within last 3 years) and passage of the licensing examination.
